Built By Me Mini Camps WINTER - 121721

This fun, interactive program will introduce students to coding and robotics using the LEGO® Education Robotics Construction Sets. Children will learn basic programming skills, simple engineering concepts, and the names of the robotic components. They will work in teams of 2 on guided projects building models, attaching sensors and motors, and using a computer to program the model’s behavior. Children will gain confidence and understanding as they build and code their robots.

All equipment will be provided.

Adventures with Built By Me WINTER - 121725

This fun and interactive program centered on coding and robotics presents students with the engineering design process using LEGO® Spike Essential Education Robotics Construction Sets. Children will work in pairs on guided projects focused on the sciences - physical, life and earth & space - defining problems and brainstorming solutions, as they build LEGO prototypes simulating nature. They will develop their problem-solving and team-building skills as they test and refine their models, gaining confidence and understanding along the way.

NJ Stem WINTER - 121726

They say that in space no one can hear you scream... with joy while playing your very own version of the classic video game, Pong—Pong In Space! We will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard to identify and capture the rules of play and characters for our game. Then, we will use Clickteam Fusion 2.5® to bring our storyboard to life with programming. At the end of the program, everyone takes home a working Windows-compatible game (Clickteam Fusion 2.5® does not support Mac or Android operating systems). All equipment will be provided.

Encouraging young artists to use their imaginations and find their own style through painting and sculpture. Semper Fit Minis FALL - 421001

Coach Vince brings the intensity of his Semper Fit Fitness class to kids! A fun and exciting way for kids to learn how to stay fit and healthy while working out. Using his experiences in the Marine Corps and combining it with the knowledge he gained through his youth physical fitness certification to give an upbeat class that strengthens and motivates!

Youth and adult classes will run simultaneous so you can both enjoy getting fit together.

Participants must bring their own towels, water bottles, etc. and should not share with others.
