Mosaics WINTER - 130605

Learn how to mosaic using stained glass, tiles, china, beads, jewelry, and other found objects. This class is appropriate for both beginners and those with some experience. Our first project is a 17" round that can be used as a tabletop, lazy susan, etc. Over 6 weeks you will learn to use various tools and best practices to create your masterpiece in a fun and supportive environment. Returning students may choose their own project. Cost includes materials and instruction.

Canvas Painting WINTER - 130606

Celebrate the beauty of our town by painting a series of landscapes of East Brunswick and the surrounding area. Beginning with step-by-step instruction and then progressing to work from photographs and nature. Students will learn about techniques, color, and composition with a little history mixed in. Open to artists of all skill levels.

Craft Adventures WINTER - 130612

If you enjoy learning new crafts but not accumulating all the stuff that goes along with it, Craft Adventures is for you! An 8-week program that will introduce you to 4 different craft mediums: Wire wrapped jewelry, polymer clay, glass and bottle cutting, and epoxy resin. You will end with four completed projects as well as some new skills. All materials are provided, and no experience is necessary.

Yoga WINTER - 131004

This multi-level class is appropriate for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. Students will work at their own individual level. Stretch, breathe, energize, refresh and relax. Participants are required to bring their own sticky yoga mat.

Participants must bring their own equipment, towels, water bottles, etc. and should not share with others.

This class focuses on defining your "core strength" through the use of Pilates techniques. This is an excellent way to tighten and tone all the muscles in the body, especially the abs! Stretches will help lengthen and strengthen muscles too.

Zumba WINTER - 131008

Party yourself into shape! Zumba features exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. You will be getting fit and your energy will be soaring! There's no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness Party. It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating. The class features approximately 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise followed by approximately 15 minutes of body toning. The class is great for all levels.

Coach Vince, a former active duty Marine turned certified fitness trainer, created the Semper Fit Fat Burner as a military-style circuit workout featuring high-intensity conditioning and power moves. Using his experiences in the Marine Corps and combining it with the knowledge he gained through his group training and nutrition certifications to give an upbeat class that burns fat, tones, strengthens, and motivates.

Participants must bring their own equipment, towels, water bottles, etc. and should not share with others.
